with long warm days and cool mountain nights perfect for
biking, hiking
or simply relaxing.

our Colorado mountain retreat, The Powder House at Cimarron.

rental is an ideal choice. Located
in the Cimarron at Steamboat development, which is a
recently completed luxury rental property a mere five minute walk from the
gondola and base area
of the ski mountain, Cimarron consists of twenty-three privately
owned rental units each reflecting the personal tastes of their
owners. The construction design of this rental townhouse is log post
and beam style which perfectly reflects its Rocky Mountain locale.
Radiant heating is used throughout the house and the addition of air
conditioning will be
 a welcome option during the warm summer days.
The Powder House is a five bedroom townhouse with over 3000 square
feet of living area and five and a half bathrooms. There are three
master suites with king beds and one bedroom with a queen bed. The
fifth bedroom is designed for singles and
children with a bunk bed and a trundle. Every bedroom has an HD flat
screen television and clock radio. Each of the bedrooms has a private
access bathroom, all with showers and two with tubs. For the convenience
and safety of our guests, The Powder House has a
heated walkway, heated driveway and two car garage. The Cimarron
complex has a recreation center located in the center of the property
with a heated pool/hot tub and locker rooms with fitness center for the
use by all owners and guests.
The Powder House
is the perfect choice for a large family or several couples who
would enjoy sharing their mountain experience. You enter the
townhouse on the ground level, which includes two bedrooms and the
washer and dryer. The first thing that you will notice is the slate
flooring which is comfortably heated through the radiant heat system
that is used throughout the unit. In the foyer of this level, there
is sports equipment center that includes cubbies and coat hooks for
storage of winter and summer gear. The bench makes a very convenient
spot for slipping into those nicely warmed ski boots before you head
for the slopes.
 At
the top of the stairs, you enter the heart of our Steamboat town
home. The great room has a vaulted two-story ceiling accented by an
oversized stone fireplace. Our abundant Colorado sunshine warms the
interior of the house through the floor to ceiling windows.
The major focus of the great room is the stone fireplace and the
entertainment center. A 56" HD flat screen television is perfect for
viewing your favorite movie or keeping tabs on your hometown team.
This living space is the ideal gathering spot for family and friends
after an exhilarating day on the slopes or rafting down the Yampa.
Accessible through the great room is the outdoor balcony, which
faces the interior of the complex. It is furnished with a table and
chairs for relaxation or al fresco dining and a gas barbecue for use
in winter and in summer.
 The
gourmet kitchen is equipped with a Viking gas six burner stove and
oven, two-drawer Kitchen-Aide dishwasher, side-by-side
refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Should you want to test your
culinary skills, you will find that the kitchen is supplied with
every tool and gadget that you could want. If you have forgotten to
bring along your favorite recipe, not to worry! We have a collection
of our favorite recipes in our version of a local cookbook,
"Cimarron Cooks".
The
dining room seats 10
guests and the kitchen counter another 4. The European rustic style
table, chairs and dining room bench will be the focal point for your
Steamboat evenings. The view from the dining room looks towards Emerald
Mountain to the west and the splendid Colorado sunsets .
The
Master bedroom suite
is also located on the main floor. This
 king bedded suite has a 32" HD
flat screen television. There is a remote
control unit for the fireplace at your bedside. The private bath for
this suite is complete with Jacuzzi tub, double vanity and glass
enclosed shower.
On the third floor,
there is a loft which overlooks the entire living area of the main
floor. We have furnished this area with a
pool table and stools for your
late night entertainment.
There are two junior
master suites on this floor that each have a king bed and private bath. The view
from the large picture window in this suite looks directly to the ski
area and gondola. Both bathrooms have a tiled shower with glass
door and vanity area.
